After building a global audience online through his love of UK and Scouse culture, TikTok star Vuncle’s second love of making music came to life as he began his very own UK DJ Tour, and when his Liverpool date came around, we knew the perfect way to welcome him. 

So, once he arrived, we set off on a day of showing him the rhythms and cultural routines of the city we call home. From getting a fresh scouse trim at Cut Throat Pete’s Barbershop to picking up a new pair of 110’s from The Block P, and even stopping off for a coveted Scouse pre-show meal of salt and pepper chicken at Man Tsuen Ho’s Restaurant in China Town, we made sure he saw all the authentic Liverpool spots.

As we moved, so did the conversations, covering everything from Vuncle’s initial discovery of UK dance music while growing up in the US, to the online community he’s built from scratch through his curiosity around UK and Scouse culture.

Rounding up the day, we headed to a pop-up party at our Liverpool One store where attendees got an intimate peek at what to expect from Vuncle’s tour. The event, hosted in collaboration with Motive and supported by Ministry Of Sound, was the perfect way to get him prepped and ready for his Liverpool set later that night.
