When you register for an Account, we may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, company name, address, email address, and telephone number.
Information collected through the Montirex mobile app
Depending on the features you use, information processed through our app includes:
- Account and contact details, such as your name, email address, customer identifier, telephone number, and billing and delivery addresses.
- Shopping and transaction information, such as products viewed, basket activity, orders, purchase history and information processed through checkout.
- Device and technical information, such as device identifiers, push-notification tokens, app interactions, crash reports and performance information.
We use this information to operate the app, manage accounts and orders, provide customer support, understand app usage, improve functionality and investigate technical problems. Relevant information is also used to personalise your experience and provide notifications and marketing communications, subject to your preferences and any consent required by law.
Providers supporting our mobile app
Tapcart provides our mobile-app platform and processes customer, shopping and technical information needed to operate its services. Shopify supports our store, customer accounts and checkout, processing the customer and transaction information needed for those services.
Tapcart’s platform uses Google Firebase for push notifications and app analytics, including processing device push tokens and shopping activity.

How we use your information
We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:

Log Files
Montirex follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. Log data may include personal information, such as IP addresses and other online identifiers. The purpose of the information is for analysing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Like any other website, Montirex uses 'cookies'. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimise the users' experience by customising our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.

Note that Montirex has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.

Mobile Terms of Service

The Montirex LTD. mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by Montirex LTD. (“Montirex LTD.”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.
We will not share your Text message opt-in or consent status with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing the messaging service. We may share this data with vendors who help us deliver text messages, including platform providers and phone companies.
By consenting to Montirex LTD.’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of Montirex LTD. through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include offers and other marketing.
You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with Montirex LTD.. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.
We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.
You may opt-out of the Service at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any text message to cancel. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other Montirex LTD. mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honoring requests made in such messages.
The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.
Account and Data Deletion
You can request the deletion of your account and personal data through either of the following methods:
- Contacting Customer Service: Reach out to our customer service team using the email address associated with your Montirex account. Upon verification, we will process the deletion request on your behalf.
- Using the Mobile App: If you have the Montirex mobile app installed, navigate to the Account section and select the Delete Account option to initiate the deletion process directly.
Please note that both methods will permanently delete your account and associated data across both our website and mobile app.

How we protect your information
We use technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. These include encryption, restricted access and system monitoring. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Retention periods depend on the type of information, our ongoing relationship with you, outstanding orders or enquiries, and applicable legal requirements.
Some records may need to be retained after an account is deleted, for example to meet tax and accounting obligations, prevent fraud or handle legal claims. We retain those records only for as long as needed for the relevant purpose.
When personal information is no longer required, we delete it or anonymise it.

- Using the Mobile App: If you have the Montirex mobile app installed, navigate to the Account section and select the Delete Account option to initiate the deletion process directly.
These methods allow you to request deletion of your account and associated personal information across our website and mobile app. Any specific records retained for legitimate reasons will be handled as explained in the “How long we keep your information” section above.
