In Liverpool, the tracks are switched for the streets. Whether it’s an early morning jog or an after-work session, the city offers plenty of routes to choose from. It’s the versatility and community of the city that inspired our latest MTX Run City collection: the Liverpool drop. Because of that, we knew we had to celebrate its launch with our own community, so that’s exactly what we did.

On Sunday March 8th, over 200 people arrived at our Liverpool One store to celebrate the exclusive launch of the MTX Run City Liverpool collection. The day included free event t-shirts, exclusive giveaways, and the chance to see the collection before anyone else had even laid eyes on it. 

Our attendees chose between three routes: 2.5K, 5K, and 7K, which took them through the original 7 streets of Liverpool and were led by running experts offering advice along the way. Each route ended at Half~Space in the Baltic Triangle, where we held our post-run celebration hosted by Still Ryan. 

Callum Llewellyn brought the atmosphere with a DJ set presented by SVARA Radio, and our guests enjoyed some post-run fuel from Moll and Joel’s Rolls. With guest appearances from our founders Danny and Kieran, and Mazza_L20, the day was a true representation of what community, connection, and celebration of Liverpool looks like.
